If So, I Should Have Just Stayed in the Episcopal Church.

It would have saved so much trouble: years of difficult discernment, followed by seven months intense instruction (this was in Fr. Rutler's church, so not your typical RCIA) and finally (as Newman put it), "admission into the One Fold of Christ".

Now this. Fortunately it's the National Catholic Reporter (where else?), so we need not take it too seriously. Still . . .

I just call it "truth."
