With its scintillating spread (with accompanying photo shoot) on Levi Johnston, the inarticulate but semi-photogenic fellow whose sole accomplishment thus far in life's journey has been the impregnation of Sarah Palin's daughter, Vanity Fair, ages ago a respectable journal, completes its transformation into Us Magazine for the chattering classes (who will devour the piece with alacrity). It is a publication no one needs now regard with the slightest seriousness nor, of course, its subscribers.
